I purchased a cellular phone for use in Alberta, Canada and recieved an assigned contact number. Almost instantly i was receiving huge amounts fo phone calls from confused people wondering why i was answering the phone. Apparently i had been assigned a "roaming number" as my personal contact number. For a week i recieved telephone calls at all hours of the day and night until i was able to change my number for a new one.
This issue was an honest mistake but the real problem was trying to get though on their customer service line to fix the problem. They would make me sit on hold for 20-30 minutes to try and fix this issue without ever talking to a real person. When i finally did get to speak to someone i would naturally be so mad at sitting on hold that myself and the customer service representative would have a hard time having and constructive communicating.
Companies need to either provide a proper service or have enough employees to handle the complaints. I would honestly have second thoughts about doing business with them again.
